More than 21,800 people (3,116 families) in Pasha Dara, Anisabad, Haleemabad, Wahdatabad, and Khushka Dara villages of Keshem District, Badakhshan Province, now have improved access to safe and sustainable drinking water through DACAAR's Rural Development Program.

Implemented between 2025 and 2026, the project rehabilitated water reservoirs, restored water supply networks, installed over 122 kilometers of pipeline, and constructed 2,628 household water points, bringing clean water closer to families and helping improve health, hygiene, and overall living conditions.

The project was implemented by DACAAR with support from DACAAR's internal reserve funds, The Solidarity Committee (SC), and Water for All.
