Position Description:

The CRLP Data Entry Officer is responsible for entering the CRLP project related data for eligible beneficiary of (CFW Cash for Work, Skilled and Non-Skilled Labors) into MIS database system as per CRLP component. Also, the Data Entry Officer is responsible for Finance & Admin related issues of the relevant district office. 

He/she will also assist the District Manager in regard of data collection and sorting and cross check with data which is received from field by Social Organizer (SOs) before entering to MIS system.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all CRLP/Data is entered into MIS database system.
  • Timely reviewing of the data to ensure quality and accuracy, this includes errors, missing information and required follow-up etc.
  • DEO is responsible for entering the digital payment data and properly follow the process in MIS system.
  • Crosscheck list of labours for CFW and list of beneficiaries for food package with attendance sheet and survey list before entering to MIS database.
  • Managing the filing system hard copy and soft copy.
  • Cross checking of recorded data and update direct supervisor regarding the data entry progress and accuracy of the data entered and recorded.
  • Conduct regular and routine data quality checks to ensure data are accurately recorded as required by the CRLP project.
  • Ensure all CRLP intervention data is verified after the complete and correct entry of the data.
  • Providing weekly updates on the data entry and data verification progress.
  • Update the District Manager about the on-time functionality and non-functionality of the database.
  • When required inform the Package Manager about the data entry process in the MIS database.
  • Inform the District Manager to contact the local authorities and community members for the re-confirmation when there is any problem in the number of beneficiaries’ during the survey and data collection process.
  • Make sure the data is not entered repeatedly and not left from the list which provided by the Social Organizer (SOs). 
  • Data Extraction using queries and generation of required report. 
  • Take care of the database and make sure it is second copy is saved somewhere else to make sure not lose the data.
  • The hard and soft copy of the data should be recorded properly.

Other:  

  • The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization’s existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor.   
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Education:Bachelor of Computer Science is required but, Master in relevant field is preferred
Experience: The candidate must have minimum of 3 years of proven experience in relevant field, database/data management
